Quick & Easy Flatbreads
Serves 2
The simplest bread you’ll ever make. Just 3 ingredients are needed for these fluffy flatbreads, perfect for dipping into hummus or soaking up a shakshuka. Lots of mezze vibes on my page at the moment but isn’t that what summer’s all about?
125g Self-Raising Flour + Extra for Dusting
125g Plain Yoghurt
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix to combine. Bring the dough together and knead on a well-floured surface for a minute or two.
Put the dough back into the bowl, cover and rest of 30 minutes.
Dust your work surface with flour and divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Flatten the dough and use a rolling pin to create round flatbreads about 2mm thick.
Place a griddle or frying pan on high heat and cook each flatbread for 1-2 minutes on each side. Eat while they’re warm and fluffy or store in a tupperware in the cupboard or fridge for up to a week. Freeze for up to a month.
